The author will examine some of the effects and consequences of the July 14, 2016 terrorist attack on the English Embankment, focusing on the urban reconstruction processes. How can psychoanalysis assist in considering the extraconscious processes that accompany the symbolization of loss: recuperation and resiliency? This report, along with many others, will be presented at the International Psychoanalytic Forum “Thoughts On The Times About War And Psychoanalysis.”
